We operate as a data processor acting at the direction of data controllers (our clients, which may include any non-profit or for-profit entities from US and worldwide). Illumeet does not solicit end users, leverage data on its system for unauthorized purposes, or share that data without the data controller’s specific permission.

Data Retention: Please note that Illumeet applies data retention rules to abide by data minimization principles as guided by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. Illumeet retains client data so long as it is contractually required, and will delete all client data in a reasonable amount of time after the conclusion of the relationship.

Information Collection and Use: Clients (the data controller) own the data they provide and collect through the Illumeet platform. When clients remove or export their data from the Illumeet platform, their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable laws, rules, or regulations. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote Illumeet features experienced at the event. You release Illumeet, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Illumeet or the person or entity designated to do so by Illumeet. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
